Having never been to france before my family and I (multiple households) made the mistake of arriving at the start of a major heatwave. Nonetheless, travelling to Marmande to have a first taste of French town life we were no disappointed, with much of that compliment going to the staff of the Planet coffee shop. Despite our broken and mispronounced French, they were happy to help and work with us to make sure we got what we wanted.
All I can say is that if you're in the area, definitely try their Ice Blend Moka. I, unashamedly*, slurped up every last drop.
If you're in the area, get them a try. They really helped make our first foray into the french town life much more pleasant.

A quick stopover in Marmande led us to this restaurant. Two bawls and a salad. The bawls are delicious, filling, and satisfying when you're hungry. The salads, with their choice of five ingredients, made my stomach happy. A generous salad with a good amount of each ingredient. The staff is very friendly; a good place for lunch.
